General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Formation of the contract

Incoming bookings via the Shuttle2Airport.com website are initially regarded as a declaration of intent by the customer. A summary of the desired transportation service will be sent to the customer by e-mail as confirmation of receipt of this declaration of intent. The conclusion of the contract requires the express acceptance of the booking by the operator of the Shuttle2Airport website. After acceptance of the order, the customer is sent an order confirmation by e-mail. The contract is thus concluded by two concurring declarations of intent.

§ 2 Content of the contract

The transportation service results from the description in the order confirmation.

2.1 Shuttle2Airport.com undertakes to provide a vehicle even in the event of delays to incoming flights or train connections. However, waiting times within reasonable limits (up to 1 hour) cannot be excluded. Otherwise, the arrival times stated in the booking document are binding for us. Passengers are obliged to notify us in writing or by telephone of any changes to bookings made after the order has been placed. In the event of non-notification, our obligation to provide transportation shall lapse.

Possible delays must be communicated to Shuttle2Airport as soon as possible by telephone (phone or WhatsApp short message).

2.2 Exceptional situations such as air traffic controller strikes or extremely bad weather conditions can only be absorbed by Shuttle2Airport.com to a limited extent, so that even longer waiting times must be accepted by the customer.

2.3 Shuttle2Airport.com is solely responsible for determining the pick-up times for passengers; this is based on the journey time and the regulations of the charter and scheduled airlines. Of course, the passenger’s preferred pick-up times will be taken into account as far as possible.

2.4 Passengers’ luggage is transported free of charge in accordance with the conditions of the charter and scheduled airlines. Undeclared excess baggage can only be transported in exceptional cases or against payment of an additional charge.

2.5 If the driver does not show up, the customer (passenger) is obliged to inform Shuttle2Airport.com promptly by telephone and to clarify the further procedure.

§ 3 Price

The transportation charge is based on the displayed basic price for the journey, plus any extra services that can be added via the website.

The operator of the Shuttle2Airport website reserves the right to check incoming booking requests with regard to the desired service and the corresponding remuneration and, if necessary, to correct discrepancies – in which case a new offer will be sent to the customer.

However, changes to the service price after the booking has already been confirmed by Shuttle2Airport to the detriment of the customer are excluded.

The prices shown are valid for one pick-up address and a one-way trip; an additional fee will be charged for each additional address served on the direct route to or from the destination in accordance with the valid price list. The price includes one suitcase and hand luggage per person.
(All prices incl. VAT)

All prices shown include transportation from one pick-up address. For additional pick-up addresses, a surcharge of € 5.00 is currently charged within the town and € 9.00 outside the town.

§ 4 Withdrawal

Both contracting parties shall have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the statutory provisions. If the customer’s declaration of withdrawal is received by Shuttle2Airport by 6 p.m. at the latest on the day before the start of the journey, cancellation fees will not be charged. Cancellation notices received by Shuttle2Airport after this time shall incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the valid fare. However, the customer reserves the right to prove to Shuttle2Airport that the actual loss incurred is lower.

§ 5 Warranty

Shuttle2Airport.com shall be liable within the scope of the duty of care of a prudent businessman for the conscientious preparation of the agreed journeys, the careful selection and monitoring of the service providers and the proper provision of the contractually agreed transportation service. Insofar as insurance cover exists within the framework of the statutory liability insurance, Shuttle2Airport.com shall be liable to the customer in the event of damage within the framework of the statutory provisions.
Insofar as liability insurance is not compulsory, the liability of Shuttle2Airport.com shall be limited to three times the agreed total fare. Shuttle2Airport.com shall only be liable for gross negligence. However, it shall also be liable for simple negligence if it breaches an essential contractual obligation which is of particular importance to the customer. The customer is obliged to notify Shuttle2Airport.com immediately in writing of any complaints about the service, at the latest 14 days after the end of the journey made in connection with the service.

§ 6 Severability clause

Should one of the above clauses be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the contract. Invalid clauses shall be replaced by the statutory provisions.
